For the first time in probably a year Mr. Foofer has been hopping around like a real bunny. He’s not 100%, but he’s recovered so well, and honestly there wasn’t a damn thing I did that seemed to have helped with his legs.

I hadn’t heard him thump his cage in probably six months, earlier this week he most definitely woke me up around five AM thrashing about his cage making all kinds of noise. It makes me happy to hear him thumping and exhibiting happy bunny behavior (such as rearranging furniture.)

For the record, I can get kind of neurotic over language. That is, I find it abhorrent to ignore an error simply because it is commonly made. The use of the term “Indian” in referring to indigenous Americans, for example, renders me incensed. Though today’s object of my linguistic rage isn’t quite so socially charged, it annoys me even more.

And now, I choose to recite a list:

[ ] – brackets
{ } – braces
( ) – parentheses
< > – loosely, carets

All “brackets” are the “square” kind. Please stop specifying that. Thanks.
